REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR APPLICATION
- Graduation Certificate (Diploma) or an Official Temporary Graduation Certificate (If obtained from a foreign institution, a notarised translation in Turkish or English is required.)
- Official Transcript of Records (For documents issued abroad, a notarised Turkish or English translation is required.)
- Diploma Equivalency Certificate (Whether this document is required during application depends on the specific program.)

Biometric photograph
- A document proving that the applicant’s university is recognised by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) in Türkiye (Candidates who do not have access to e-government can obtain it through the International Office at ASBU.)
- For programs taught in Turkish, a minimum B2-level Turkish Language Proficiency Certificate is required. (Applicants who have completed their secondary, undergraduate, or graduate education at an institution where the language of instruction is Turkish are exempt from this requirement.)
- For programs taught in English, applicants must submit an official English language proficiency certificate showing a minimum score of 80 on YDS, e-YDS, or YÖKDİL; or an equivalent score from an internationally recognised exam listed by ÖSYM.
- English proficiency is not required for applications to non-thesis Master’s programs.
- While not mandatory, having an academic background relevant to the applied program is preferred and may strengthen your application.
- Applicants to Master’s or PhD programs may be invited to an interview by the Evaluation Committee, depending on the specific program.
