REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR APPLICATION

1. Graduation Certificate (Diploma) or an Official Temporary Graduation Certificate (If obtained from a foreign institution, a notarised translation in Turkish or English is required.)
2. Official Transcript of Records (For documents issued abroad, a notarised Turkish or English translation is required.)
3. Diploma Equivalency Certificate (Whether this document is required during application depends on the specific program.)

4. Two letters of recommendation, issued within the last 9 months.

9. For applicants who graduated from a university abroad, a document certifying that the university is recognized by the Council of Higher Education (Applicants without e-Government access may obtain the relevant document through the International Office.)
10. For English programs, a minimum score of 80 on the YDS, e-YDS, or YÖKDİL exams is required to demonstrate English proficiency.  (or an equivalent score from a foreign language exam accepted by the Council of Higher Education)
11. For Turkish programs, a minimum B2-level Turkish Language Proficiency Certificate is required. (Applicants who have completed their secondary, undergraduate, or graduate education at an institution where the language of instruction is Turkish are exempt from this requirement.)
12. For the programs MA in Clinical Psychology with thesis, MA in Clinical Psychology Non-Thesis, PhD in Clinical Psychology, and MA in Family Counseling Non-Thesis, a C1-level Turkish proficiency is required. 
13. For the MA in Clinical Psychology with thesis and the MA in Clinical Psychology non-thesis programs, at least 75 on the YDS or an equivalent score on a foreign language exam accepted by YÖK is required.
14. For the MA in Family Counseling (Non-Thesis), at least 50 on the YDS or an equivalent score on a foreign language exam accepted by YÖK is required.
15. For the PhD in Clinical Psychology, at least 85 on the YDS or an equivalent score on a foreign language exam accepted by YÖK is required.
16. YÖK (Council of Higher Education) Equivalency Certificate (For the programs of Clinical Psychology MA with Thesis, Clinical Psychology MA without thesis, Clinical Psychology PhD, and Family Counseling MA without thesis)

          NOTES: 

• There is no English language requirement for non-thesis master’s programs.
• While it is not a requirement, having a degree in a field related to the program to which you are applying is preferred.
• Applicants to Master’s or PhD programs may be invited to an interview by the Evaluation Committee, depending on the specific program.
