Registration


The Registrar’s Office conducts registrations on the dates specified in the academic calendar, following the evaluation results of the ASBU International Student Admission Commission.

Documents Required for Final Registration:

1. Letter of acceptance

2. Original certificate(s)/diploma(s) and transcript(s) and their Turkish Embassy/Consulate or notary-approved official translations into Turkish (an apostille must be attached to each original diploma and transcript of a student who comes from a country that is a party to the Apostille Convention)

3. MEB equivalence certificate (Students who do not have an Equivalence Certificate are required to apply via https://edenklik.meb.gov.tr/ and deliver a printout of the application form.)

4. Original document of identification (e.g., the identification page of your passport) and its Turkish Embassy/Consulate or notary-approved true copy

5. Bank receipt for the first instalment of the tuition fee or the certificate of scholarship (The tuition fee must be paid at the time of registration.)

6. Citizens of countries who do not qualify for a visa exemption through bilateral agreements or a decree from the Council of Ministers must obtain a student visa through a Turkish Consulate or Embassy, or hold a valid residence permit

7. Four biometric photographs

8. Proof of foreign language proficiency (for programmes with a foreign language as the medium of instruction)

9. Proof of foreign language proficiency (for programmes taught in Turkish)

10. Application form

11. An official enrolment letter from the Turkish Language Teaching Centre (TÖMER), if the student is required to attend a Turkish language course

12. Candidates enrolling in the Russian Translation and Interpretation programme, which is entirely taught in Russian, must provide a proficiency exemption document in either Turkish or Russian at final registration.

13. The requirements specified in the Application Guide for the relevant academic year must be fulfilled.

Note: International students enrolled in undergraduate programmes taught in a foreign language must submit proof of Turkish proficiency at a minimum of the B1 level. This proof must be issued by the Turkish Language Teaching Centre (TÖMER), Language Education Application and Research Centres (DİLMER), or TYS Turkish proficiency exams affiliated with Turkish universities. The document should be submitted to the academic unit where the student is enrolled by the end of their eighth semester.
